:: May 2018::
It is a crazy travel sprint until
the middle of August - I am
making the most of it and
trying not to lose my shit.
Thank God Zaven is studying
in Milan and can help with the
house and the animals and
Joe is deep in his doctorate -
so we both need all the help
we can get...

I had two events over two
weeks in Singapore so I took
the time in between to visit
Bali. Not because of Eat, Love,
Pray - I really
really disliked
that book. I think it is one of
the only books I actually threw
away.

My Bali experience -

I loved the smell of cloves and
patchouli and sandlewood
I loved the Hindu ceremonies,
temples and having flowers in
my hair, behind my ears and
rice on my forehead
I loved practicing yoga on the
beach
I loved the naughty monkeys
and wild waves

11-14 May
Bali, Indonesia
And then on into
Singapore

Lots of sunrise photos -
doing yoga at sunrise
outside - awe it's the best
way to start the day
I have to pinch myself, we
have our events at
beautiful, gorgeous venues

6 - 18 May
Sentosa Island

& Singapore

Remembered my dad with
a Yarhzeit candle and
Kiddish prayer at sunrise
A weekend at home. The Vinum in
Alba and the vacation house.
Hiking and wine tasting. Visiting
Dad's tree with Zaven and Baci.
Baci who is half dead and sick but
he made it

26-29 Serole, Italy
It took a village to get
me into Russia. HP
resources, (money &
time)  patience and a
SECOND US passport (I
now have two)

Happy I made it in. And
out.

23-25 April
Moscow, Russia
The Fire Pit and Cortile Make
Over

Before - I am not sure why
we didn't do this before. I
was trying to relax outside
and read a book on that
bench about a month ago
and was so uncomfortable. I
had pillows everywhere and
still was miserable.

I have been pinning fire pits
and our friends have a
holiday house in Tahoe and
they have adirondacks and a
fire pit. The Manley family
and Pinterest were my
inspiration. Thanks to Joe
for having faith in my vision
and making it happen.

We cleaned up the area -
figured out where we wanted
it. Dug a hole. Well Joe dug
and then we scavenged for
rocks which is always fun
and voila the lovely after. I
am delighted

You can see the before

2 & 3 June 2018
Serole, Italy
I was in 3 regions in 4
days. Yikes. I felt like I
was one of those cave
people who lose track of
time. It worked for me. I
had no issues in Mexico.
And finally got my
Oaxacan cheese I have
been dreaming about
since the last time I was
there 20 years ago. Love
my colleagues

Guadaljara, Mexico
