It was so warm, tons of
people were on the
beach soaking up that
lovely winter vitamin D
Happy & Healthy 2019 -

feeling very grateful and
blessed and looking
forward to our 2019
adventures!

It was a big effort to get
Baci up to this spot. He
is old and not very spry.
We drove him up most
of the way, and he
wallered up the last hill
and was happy to be
with us sniffing around
and being outside, even
if Zaven wasn't with us.

Portofino is only an hour
and a half away and just so
gorgeous. The teeny, tiny,
narrow road from Santa
Margharita to Portofino is
washed out so you have to
park and walk about 10
kilometer round trip. That
long winter sun, turquoise
water, the colorful, quaint
villas, warmer than here
weather and beautiful views
of the Riviera made the chilly
stroll lovely.

Vacation is over blues ...

Joe and Zaven are heads
down in their programs

January : Israel. With Lori of
course

February : Barcelona x2

March : Singapore and
Australia to visit Kerry (I am
so excited, I have wanted to
go to Aus)

April : London
Oslo

And yoga, yoga, yoga
I found this photo on my
yoga cohort What'sApp
group chat. This program is
all consuming and I always
feel behind and I have so
much to learn. It's 200
hours in class and another
1000+ out of class. Uff. But
I am loving it.

If you want to do yoga with
me - let me know

I love Israel so much, it is such
a special place for me and I am
so fortunate that I get invited
to do my work there.

I always stay at the Yam Hotel
near the port. They are
wonderful and treat me (and
Lori) like family.

I love the food. It is fresh and
multi cultural and healthy.

I love Israel, but really don't
like being away from home,
Joe, Zaven, the kitties and Baci
for more than a week

Israel

Coming up:

February | Barcelona x2
March | Singapore & Australia
(& Kerry)
Grenoble, France
April | London & Oslo
May | Israel & maybe the States
June | Norway

And yoga, yoga, yoga

We had two leadership
sessions at a kibbutz type
place outside of Tel Aviv - near
Nes Ziona - it is called Krypton
Ayanot. They have beautiful
meeting facilities, with lots of
outdoor spaces for
conversations, excellent food
and it was also there was an
agricultural vocational high
school - so there were plants
and animals - like a farm. I was
in heaven. There were goats.
Baby goats. This one was born
by C-section and his twin died
in child birth and his mom died
a few days later - I saw the
video, I wasn't surprised. Ouch
and ewe. The kids named him
Dumbo because of his ears. I
got to hold him when he was a
day old and then one week
later.
It was a HUGE highlight of my
trip. Ohhhh I want a baby goat.
I am sure Baci and the kitties
would love a goat too.

Krypton Ayanot
We went to the Dead Sea and
stayed at the Ein Gedi kibbutz,
but on the way we stopped in
Jerusalem and visited the Western
Wall.

Jerusalem 18 January 2019
Ein Gedi for Shabbat dinner was
very special and the weekend- the
sun rising and setting over the
Dead Sea and Jordan - the trees
and birds. Yoga and walks.  I love
it there.
