It started with needing a parking place. And then it turned into our fourth house purchase. Our retirement home / bed and breakfast/
agriturismo / animal sanctuary / Leonetti safe house/ comune. Where our kids can come live forever and ever (I wish) and work from
here.
We will buy it outright and have 13 years, at least, before retirement to make it fabulous. Oh so many plans...
A lot of land - one part of it dedicated to the B&B, the house is huge, each of the four bedrooms would be en suite for the
B&B/agritursimo, extra potential income. A large plot of land - one part dedicated to the B&B garden, a lovely stone terrace with a
fire-pit and pool, with a fig tree, wisteria and a tiny vineyard. And the other part dedicated to an animal sanctuary specifically rescue
goats - there are a lot of goat farmers in the area and they destroy them if they are not 'perfect' - we would need to start out small
but we love animals and so saving animals, living our values, would be part of our next chapter.
Our goal is to be self sustained and contained.
I am calling it Bisnonna (great grandma) because we have always known it as that - Marisa, our dear old neighbor, this was her great
grandmother's house. It is directly across our cortile. We can stay at our comfortable house, walk 3 meters and work to our heart's
content and come back to comfort.
