And a fun session with Singapore Leadership before heading home that evening. Singapore is cool. I like it. Safe. Clean. Really kind and diverse people. Amazing food. And I will be back in a few weeks. :)
I have not been home much lately but when I am at home I am so grateful. What a wild sunset Zeccone, Italy 29 October 2017 And of course my favorite place to be is the Serole vacation house We will be spending Thanksgiving here, can't wait! Avalon is coming home on the 22nd of December. I am / we are over the moon! We will spend the time in Milan and mostly Serole and have made plans to spend New Year's Eve weekend in Rome where we will also catch up with Joe's cousins. Who have promised fabulous wine and cheese, non vedo l'ora! We celebrated Zaven's 20th birthday a bit early, in Milan, as I was about 10,000 kilometers away on his really real birthday. We are so proud of this young man - he makes us better parents and people #blessed 4 for 6 November 2017 |
And then on to Singapore we joke that I have a "girl"(friend) in every port. Amanda and I met when we were both in HP Enterprise HR - I adore her and am so thankful that she hosted me for a lovely evening catching up in Singapore 8 & 9 November 2017
Anne took this of Avalon and I when we were in San Francisco in September Love it Zaven and I made challah as part of my participation in the Shabbos Project 2017 No devices or technology and liking my friends to their faces, enjoying family and food and practicing gratitude for 25 hours from sunset on Friday, October 27 to one hour after sunset on Saturday the 28th. And I did it and was very proud of myself. I finished two books and started a third - not considered work but relaxing development. Also, spent the day with Joe in Alba - we had a lovely lunch and strolled around. I definitely am not disciplined to go deviceless every shabbat but would like to be able to do it a few times a year. Shabbat Shalom! #keepingittogether

I love it here. Always have. Always will. And it isn't just because of the amazing cheese and wine. 20-22 November Nice, France

I was invited to work with one of our leadership teams and they nicely planned it in Nice as it is close"ish" to the vacation house, where we planned on spending Thanksgiving. It felt decedent to be able to train directly from Pavia to Nice (and not have to change). It was a gorgeous train ride and I was able to meet a friend from grad school the night before our event to catch up and have some wine and cheese.

I love this team and look at the view we had from our conference room. Hurray, off to Serole via train. I had made arrangements for a taxi to meet me in Spigno to drive me up the hill. Nice, France 22 November

But when I arrived, I took a look around and thought, "Who trashed the joint? Where is my Swiss Army knife?" Every few years an uninvited, thug, messy, vandal field mouse, or mice, sets up camp at the vacation house. There was coffee all over, olive oil metal lids chewed off, pine cones knocked down from shelves, dishes in the drying rack on the floor. I cleaned up and messaged Joe, " Hurry, bring the cats and more wine." It was on, we had 3 cats and it survival of the fittest and a humane trap. And we got bumpkis. But here you can see Fribble on watch. Serole, Italy Thanksgiving 22-26 November
