:: January 2018 ::
Ski day! I have been pretty
much out of commission since
the ski accident in 2015  - we
did ski once in 2016 to get
back in the saddle but I was
terrified and shaking and the
conditions were crap. Not
worth it. And 2017 the snow
conditions were not favorable
and with Joe's doctorate and
my travel schedule impossible
anyway.
But finally the snow Gods
looked down upon us and we
had a window in our
calendars...it was a wonderful
day - sunny - a lot of snow
and so nice to have a ski date
with my honey since most of
my time is spent with
colleagues these days and
most of his time is spent with
books.

Above: Sherry Herring at the Tel
Aviv Port Market  - herring
sandwich (insanely yum) and a
shot of vodka. 10.00 AM it's
tradition, can't say no.
Above right: Sabich - eggplant,
egg, cabbage, it is so amazing.
Right: Abu Hassan, line out the
door - they yell: Yalla! Yalla!
(C'mon hurry up and eat!) This
day they were yelling to hurry
up, pay and get out because it
was Shabbat.

Watch the Netflix show
Someone Feed Phil - it shows
