:: November & December 2016 ::
It's December. Wow.
Right: Long weekend
in Serole. The light is
long and golden and
a bit magical.
Baci wasn't allowed in
our favorite
Roccaverano bar so
we asked for plastic
cups for our
prosecco. Che brutta
figura! So here we
are walking around
with wine glasses.
Again.

7-11 December
Serole, Italia

Zaven is coming
home on the 22nd
and we plan on
having a quiet time
here in Serole.  We
are sad Av' won't be
coming home this
year for the holidays,
but
I have a business trip
to Palo Alto in early
January and I will
swing by Portland to
see him.

We are always trying
to find short cuts to
and from Omar's
tree. Baci led the way
and then abandoned
us. Nice sheep dog.
My HP Sister from Portugal
came for a girl's weekend in
Milan | Como | Pavia

1-4 December, 2016
We take every
opportunity to come
up here. Milan / Pavia
can be very grey in
the winter time. But
this area gets a lot
more sun.

I love this view. A
long run but worth it
for this sight of Alpi
Marittime covered in
snow.
Baci : These dogs scare me.

Ok, ok Babaloo, you can go
outside but you have to be on a
leash here...there are foxes.
Zaven came home for Thanksgiving

It was a crazy week as the
Wednesday night before I was
just returning from Barcelona, I
had facilitated a Growth Mindset
session (very fun) and Z was
flying home a few hours later (2
trips from Malpensa) and then we
whizzed off to Serole the same
evening. Hurry up and relax.

23-27 November, 2016

We had rain of biblical
proportions. Thankfully we were
here as our very expensive new
roof sprung some leaks - we
called the roof guy who promptly
came out and repaired said issues.
There was flooding and mud slides
all over. Very exciting.
Shalom Shabbat & my beautiful
challah! Well Zaven braided the
one on the left.
Beautiful and yummy
We took a day trip
to Genova. It was
sunny and warm and
gorgeous

Another long weekend in Serole.
In ten years, I never tire of
coming here - every time is
different - the seasons change
and it is just amazing.
