| It's January. I am 3 weeks (and final research paper) away from completing my M.Ed. Joe is in his 2nd quarter for his doctorate. There isn't enough snow in the Alps. Thankfully as I am still working up the courage to hit the slopes anew after my accident. Sort of conflicted because skiing in winter sun is so therapeutic for me - once I get back in the saddle again I will be fine. Zaven has completed his university applications so now we are awaiting interviews and project. We had a date in Como & Bellagio with a lot of vitamin D and gorgeous views. | One of my WSU professors once said, "Keep going after this. Continue your higher education because an education is something no one can ever take away. Not in a a divorce or bankruptcy or even a stroke." This has always stuck with me and a million years later I am very proud to say that I did it. We spent Valentine's Weekend celebrating completion of my Master's in Education with an emphasis on Globalization. 13 February 2016 |

| University update for Zaven: Acceptances from Bournemouth & Norwich. Projects and interviews in the next few weeks for Groningen & Rotterdam. I predict he will be accepted to all of them and have to choose. |

| In November we traveled to the Netherlands & in December we traveled to the UK visiting universities. Zaven applied in January & interviewed in February. We are proud to say he was accepted to every school to which he applied. After much thought and analysis, he made his decision (which we are thrilled with) to study in the Netherlands. He is in the home stretch with the IB - exams in April, he will be going to Nepal to rebuild a school in May, Av comes and Z graduates in June. Yay! |
