| We had such a lovely weekend in the Netherlands celebrating Zaven's birthday, visiting universities in Rotterdam & Groningen and seeing friends in Amsterdam. We will be finishing our uni tour in the UK the 1st weekend of December. Zaven is in the last year of his International Baccalaureate, Joe started his doctorate program this month and I will complete my Master's in Education in February. If you need a quiet place to study, drink wine or play with cats, come to the Leonetti house. The Netherlands 6 -8 November 2015 |

| :: The White Truffle Festival of Alba :: Our annual pilgrimage! I get to see my darling friend Elisa and the rest of the local wine producers we have been meeting for the last 9 years. I love them and their wine. One highlight was sampling and buying Ubriaco di Barolo cheese. Ohhh I loved it so much. And since La Piola was booked solid on Saturday I was forced to go venture out and I am so happy I did. We found Voglia di Vino - it's an enoteca which serves light meals and of course fabulous cheese. We had a sampling of local reds and the owner came out and explained each one to us. The weather was lovely and we could sit outside. It was really a perfect day. 24 October 2015 | Alba |
| Look at our love cats. Figilily just got sterilized - you can sort of see her incision on her her cute cheetah tummy. Fribble is up next - but we need to wait a few months. They both had parvo and we spent close to 1000 euro in the month of September saving them from the brink of death. Gads. We are so grateful that they are all healthy and vaccinated. |

| These 2 cuties met at the International School of Milan when they were just 10 and then their paths crossed again at the American School of Milan. I am hopeful that they will both end up at uni in the Netherlands. #friends |

| We had a lovely Thanksgiving at the vacation house! It was a bit of a miracle that Joe could be offline for 2 consecutive days. We decided to bite the bullet and get satellite internet up there because otherwise we will never get to go. This weekend we are off to the UK to visit unis with Zaven and we are SO excited that Avalon is coming home for Christmas! November 2015 |
| We couldn't leave the kitties at home. So we had 3 cats and a dog in the car. They started off contained, but ended up Houdini ing out. Roaming car cats are dangerous but they were actually better than Baci. |
| We went on a beautiful hike on Thanksgiving. Fed apples to these ginormous horses, who gave me the stink eye when we ran out. And we made the best I have ever made or tasted cheesecake. Recipe was easy peasy. |

We had a great time visiting universities and friends in the UK. It was a serious road trip. Landed Friday in Stansted, drove to Norwich for their open day and the same day down to Bournemouth for the open day on Saturday. Saturday afternoon driving to London where we hung out with friends until Monday morning. Happy the university visits are over...now applying, waiting and deciding. Zaven: Here's one of dad kissing your teeth. Norwich, Bournemouth, London, England 4-7 December Avalon is in NY city at his annual company Christmas party, he will fly back to Portland and arrive here on the 14th of December. He will work from here through Friday and then Saturday we will go to Germany for Christmas markets and friends. Looking forward to spending Christmas together in Milan and Serole! Very happy and blessed. |

| We ate and drank our way through London with Zach and Eliza. Not only are they dear friends but Zach was also Z's film director before moving to London. Zaven adores him and as a gift silk screened one of Zaven's designs on t-shirts for Z and E. The shirts and design are darling and loved! Thanks to social media Zaven is getting more requests for this t-shirt.
