:: The Leonetti Family May & June 2015 ::
.
We were invited to go on a food
tour in Parma with some of Joe's
colleagues.
The tour was targeted toward
geriatric Americans who don't
know that they should be able to
not only photograph the food,
for Facebook and Instagram, but
they should also be able to taste
the food.
There was no food on the food
tour. #wtf

So I really would not recommend
the Parma Food Tour.

Life has been crazier than normal
lately - ski accident, awaiting
surgery, physical therapy,
student teaching, changing jobs,
vacation house remodel...and so
more than ever I really, really
love my bed and my sleep.
But, our neighbors found 2
abandoned kittens - their eyes
weren't even open yet - I
couldn't let them die, so... we
are bottle feeding them, helping
them go pee and poo - yes the
mommy cat usually helps with
that, so constant laundry in
addition to heating water bottles
and baby bottles. Anyway, all
that sleep I loved to get well it
has been interrupted.

:: Alba Vinum 2015  ::

I LOVE this annual event
1. Because I get to see my friend
Elisa Drocco of Drocco Vineyards
2. I get to drink her fabulous
wine and lots of other fabulous
wines
3. I get to eat yummy local
cheese
4. I get to do all this with my
favorite boy in a darling city

Baci & Babaloo opportunistically
united in their common dislike for
the kittens.

PS we don't like sweet wine
and they didn't have any food so
can you really drink wine without
food?
On the bright side, the venue

I survived and my gown matched
my tennis shoes.
They harvested my hamstring to
rebuild my ACL and removed my
meniscus.
Not for fun but because of my ski
crash in CH, helmet flew off
(whiplash) ski stayed on (destroyed
knee).
Cycled and swam daily until the
surgery and will continue post plus
6 months of intensive physical
therapy.
Grateful for my world class surgeon.
Can't wait to be running again.

To celebrate the completion of my
student teaching (hooray!) and just
in case I died in surgery I wanted to
do something fun in between...so
we went to

Nice, France
23 & 24 May 2015

I love France because they love
cheese and wine more than me.
I told Joe that I decided in our next
life we will be French.
