For my birthday weekend I took the train to Varazze on Friday the 29th. I sat on the beach and had foccacia and white wine and then Joe came down after work. We went for long runs and had fabulous food and tons of end of summer beach time. It was perfect! Varazze, Italia 29-31 August 2014 |

A lot of exciting things happening: Zaven, although only in 11th grade, is ASM's Student Body President, hooray Zaven! Joe put forward one of his students to the TED blog and she was featured - it is the cutest thing! Meet Jennifer Brain, your new favorite TED speaker, and the 13-year-old student who drew her Joe is in Switzerland and Zaven is in Berlin with ASM this week - so happy they are coming home tonight. We celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary this Sunday with a half marathon - we did a 20K dry run last Sunday #crazy Next Saturday I am off to Portland to visit family and friends...I am can't wait!!! 3 October 2014 |
