Stradella ~ Wine Fest 2011 ~ Oltrepo Pavese
Above looking like a dork with my wine sack and wine tasting tickets. We got there
early which was nice because we had the wine experts fresh and to ourselves so
they could take their time and explain the wines, grapes, how it matures, which
food to have it with, how this year's vendemmia is being very much anticipated -
yay! September is all about wine for us. At our village market this morning, after
our run, I met my favorite wine producer and loaded up on her Pinot Nero,
Croatina, Riesling & Rosato

| Yay! Kerry came to visit from the UK! Milano - Nagilio for aperitivi. Bra for the Cheese Fest , Alba for a stroll, Serole for some Tropic Thunder, Pavia for bike ride, but not a train ride and proesecco, San Genesio ed Uniti for our favorite pizza and the grumpiest waiters in the world - they are lucky their pizza is so damn good. 19 Settembre 2001 |
