| 28 Ottobre- 1 Novembre Serole & Alba Alba - ANOTHER food and wine fest - it never ends It has been so dry - the trees and vineyards are just amazing and colorful. We had such a good time, relaxing, running and going for hikes... Serole Hike - we saw 5 deer the 1st night and then not one but two vipers and 2 scorpians, but who cares about the scorpians they aren't deadly. It was warm in the sun so the snakes were taking the opportunity to soak it in. Joe playing snake with the 2nd and bigger. I found both of them - the 1st I thought was dead on the side of the road, but after nudging it with my boot and having it coil up ready to bite, I realized it wasn't dead. The 2nd was laying really straight across a leafy foot path, both Zaven and Baci walked right over it and I saw it and yelled, "SNAKE! How could you guys miss it?" Thank goodness they are slow and not aggressive this time of year - yikes.
