FREE PUPPIES

Not these puppies -
Fred & Cari. These are
not my dogs, just on
my running route. I
love them and bring
them snacks. Sadly,
brother and sister have
procreated - YIKES -
Maybe the puppies
won't be 'that special'
considering that their
mom and dad are also
their aunt and uncle.
Hopefully this is a first
in the famiy tree. I think
one off inbreeding isn't
too bad... I have not
seen the puppies yet,
the last few times, I
could tell 1st that she
was preggy and then
that she was nursing. I
am happy now that
there is a sign saying
Free Puppies vs doing
something not nice to
the unwanted puppies.
So if you are interested
in some very pure bred
Italian farm dogs,
contact me.

Paris next week for
work, then
Thanksgiving, then
Bucharest (for work),
then Stuttgart (not for
work) to see our big
boy, friends, have a
Conny shoot and visit
the Christmas
Markets....and then
Christmas vacation.

A Wonderful Thanksgiving in Serole
Joe & Z had the days off
from school so I took
Thursday and Friday off to
spend a lovely
Thanksgiving together.

After what feels like weeks
of fog in Pavia, finally we
were able to enjoy days of
sun. It is too warm and
there is no snow in the
Alps (CRAP) - according to
the farmers we won't have
snow until January. I
believe them. We are
usually skiing by now. Fine,
as long as we have snow in
February for our Dolomiti
White Week.


We had a huge turkey (15
pounds - we gave a ton to
the neighbors)  - a whole
turkey is sort of exotic (and
expensive this time of year
($65.00)) and I made a
home made apple pie
crumble - we watched
Christmas movies, put up
the tree, Joe has a new
chainsaw so we cut and
stacked a ton of wood,
went for a long run and a
long hike, had fires and
just relaxed - slept like a
dead person - I love it up
there.

OH and caught a mouse -
and then when we went to
free it outside, Baci
pounced on it and killed it.
UGH, so much for being
civilized.

Friday there was a big fest
in Cortemilia - Santa
Caterina - so really was a
perfect time to be down
there.


Today, I volunteered for
the Food Bank of Italy,
people are so generous - I
love it,  and tomorrow off to
Romania for work...on a
Sunday, CRAZY busy but
still SO much to be thankful
for...

Next week Germany - can't
wait to see Avalon!!!
