| Luglio 2010 10K Brallo Run |

| We start out in Brallo, the 1st 4.5 kilometers are pretty much uphill - but with amazing views and even fields of sun flowers and a natural spring half way...could it be any more perfect? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We pass through Roccaverano - then take a little road to Puschiera - which is my favorite - just 4 houses sitting on this ridge running East-West - to the North are the Alps and to the South the Piemontese foothills. Joe has such great legs - lucky. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Above - there is a little church, going toward Roccaverano, where we will be remarried. Right - looking North - Monte Rosa and the Alps. Below - direction South back toward Brallo and the Riviera | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Above - Joe running past some of the beautiful houses on top of the hills. To the right....this is a funny story, last year we were going for a hike and on the way down we had to walk past/through this farmyard, so I am looking around at the beautiful views and step right into fresh cement - I felt so bad, still do like I need to confess to the farmer....So now, whenever I run by this spot, I feel immortalized because my hiking boot foot print is there, in the cement, under some old farm equipment |
